Following an international campaign by development NGOs from around the world, in which SOS Faim took part, 2014 was declared the ‘International Year of Family Farming’ (IYFF) and the FAO appointed several special ambassadors to promote this theme throughout the world. Among them was Ibrahima Coulibaly, President of the CNOP (the National Coordination of Farmers’ Organisations of Mali), one of SOS Faim’s partners.
